This wine is produced from grapes grown by our next door neighbor at Bowman Vineyards and was our flagship wine when we first started producing wine in 1981. We pick the grapes so there is a balance between sugar and acid, making it a wine you can cherish for years to come, with a cherry aroma and long lasting aftertaste. This wine is not finned or filtered so we recommend you decant it to release the abundant flavors and aromas.

The Wine Process
During the fermentation in our small tank. Extreme attention was given to a fermentation that extracts fresh and fragrant aromas, full colors, and supple, elegant textures and tannins. It was put through malolactic fermentation and aged in American Oak barrels to bring out the finesse and expressiveness of the aromas. This Zinfandel can easily lay-down although, we feel we’ve already aged it for you and you can open the bottle anytime.
Great with meat and pasta.
